SOME THING ABOUT NOTHING

Lazing on my bed with absolute no awareness of anything on this planet one can say either iam on deep meditations LIKE a saint or I am on high trip on some drugs like LSD or Ecstasy. Hmmm this phenomenon is exclusively reserved for Sunday mornings but today is no Sunday but something special indeed. Today would be my last day in Hyderabad or worse still my last day even in Andhra Pradesh. Tomorrow by this time I would be experiencing the sands of coast sticking to my barefoot in Manglore.So i wanted to jot down something

For a quite a long time I tried juggling some words and reproduce some blog after all this is my last blog from Hyderabad . But with no avail. My mind went total dead . My brains neuro transmitters stopped producing happiness inducing chemicals like dopamine. All horror stories from newspapers like swine flu, terrorism., flood havoc , Chinese aggression , or some mumbo jumbo hardly produces tremor in my mental process. My body is already atrophied out of sheer laziness. Id, diwali, dusherra, ramzan or tribal newyear day has the same effect.. Like all previous years and incarnations. I just sleep by 10 wake up at 6. No prayers nor Celebrations. Be it Armageddon or Judgment day or End of the World or prologue to 3rd world war..Life is monotonously monotonous. Let the Asteroid or Earth-targeting-Meteor pinpoint my room. Let all Green House Gases increase in manifold and engulf the planet thus suffocating the life. Come what may-Accelerating Deforestation or Decelerating Water tables. Let the Aliens from Mars and Pluto invade World and enslave it to the last man and woman (Rakhi sawant exempted.., who can take her tantrums). Whatever happened .Come what may.

WHO CARES….!!!!

Still nothing seems to flash in my mental screen yet. I fiddle my pen aimlessly on my paper pad. I see my cell phone in one remote corner which has got rusted –last time someone called on personal basis was in Jurassic age. I make a mental note that I should try to call some friends whom I guess,belive that I ve become some kind of mummy in Egyptian pyramids or lab rat for testing Aids Vaccine or worse still.. a gay marrying rahul mahajan on tv swyamvar

. . Phew…So many thoughts- nameless-aimless, senseless-useless slam my mind but none are worth my attention.. As I put my degrading zero-creative mind path into vaccum , I observed that slowly my mind slipping into some black hole kinda emptiness .From Emptiness to Loneliness. I recognize , the next step would be Depression or still worse Hallucination or even Death .

Lonliness can be dangerous especially when it makes u lose the sense of time and space. With no friends n foes, boyfriend or my sweet girlfriend, Tv or Internet, comics or novels..Mind finds no anchor to hang on.It finds no outlet for creative expression …when mind gets clouded with lonliness ..all strong impressions in your memory , like happiest or darkest moments in life esp negative memories start floating in ur mind. Dormant forgotten fears n tears become active..Typical Mind feeding on Mind Phenomena. All my creative skills to combat the tricks of mind seem to have depleted due to lack of human contact in recent times, either physically or virtually.

Face book / Orkut /Email /Snail mail /cellphone / pigeon-courier all other sources of communication were deleted last month. Several reasons came into my mind for that act but no single reasons in particular. Truth has many sides. I donno why I deleted my mail accounts ,

Hmm….Its time to bid adieu to Hyderabad where I grew up right from the days I was toddler…..hmmm…its only matter of days before my mind automatically erases the past memoirs to start a fresh slate (trust me , having a extreme short term memory is an advantage .No emotional baggage and no nostalgia )

MID NIGHT PSYC-OPS

Time is 3 am. Blessed with super sharp senses , I sprang up at 1st sign of impending danger. My ears strain for signs of movement in pitch darkness of room…trying to catch some glint of knife …or hear some cocking of pistol…whooshing sound of garrotte……smell body odour..sweat…..anything…but no avail..my opponents have concealed themselves well. Though my body is no longer as active as it was in my prime , my 6th was nevertheless as good as ever. Then suddenly out of dark, there came attack…attackers hit me with full force ….one after another ..every strike of my enemies hit on all vital parts of body thus bleeding me bodily. Who could they be?...CIA or KGB hitsquads?...iam sure they are dispatched by Pakistan to eliminate before I take the hot seat in India policy making. Aahh…this is it its PREMPTIVE STRIKE..no doubt this is handiwork of ISI from Pakistan.

As I was too dazed to react I hear them doing victory dance like tribals after their hunt. Eeeks they are not some elite special forces trained in behind the enemy lines operations. They are just black bold big mosquitoes with sharp steely hypodermic needle that punctured my bruce lee body and sucked half my hyper pure blood. Before I could react I found my cell going crazy due to repeated assault of wifi signals. Hmm,,,,,I just check my orkut..no scrap since independence days….try rediffmail…no mail since Jurassic period….try yahoomail…even spam stopped visiting my inbox….check gmail…twitter…hifi...phew..looks like humanity have forgotten that a man like me exists. Last stop facebook resulted in jackpot..one message .first since man went to moon and planted flag on behalf of humanity. Wow those golden words read “how come no blog since feb2009”..now I guess that feb2009 is from stone age. now I stand on my head (seershasana)which is first part of my ritual that I do before I pen down. It helps my rusted n unused my brains back to its place in my head(left unused it slipped into legs). I put some water in ears which would has same effect on my brain as oil and grease to rusted vehicles.

What should I write?...my bland love life which is has same status of sahara desert with no oasis anywhere or my financial status which has gone down the negative levels without aid of subprime crisis and subsequent financial recession(why cant some govt put me on endangered species list and give me some financial stimulus package) or or what ???...hmmm….whatever ,,,here I go ..this article which iam writing totally extempore is dedicated to some geek in Canada running NOT behind trees in rain with his lady love …but preparing himself physically and mentally for entry into worlds greatest prison. Yeah, he is getting estranged into wedlock soon…my deepest sympathies buddy…

Hmm….all my pre-article ritual s are over yet no idea pushes into my cranium box. So I wtore whatever that comes into my mind. For once I reverse the process of mental activity. I remember reading book Q&A super book which is known to world as slumdog millionaire(stupid movie). Entire book is written in question and answer and story behind answer format. So I try to copy the same with equally awkward questions equally awkward explanations


In corporate world when we attend question firing squad HR interview, we are shot with age old questions for example

Q ) Tell me about yourself?

A) I am sure 9/10 would pose this question. So what do they want to know ?. about our past life (that’s in resume) or to tests our communication skills (that can be concluded with ease by end of interview) But whats the correct answer?. Wise mandarins give hundred answers yet its still has no valid perfect reply. Why?..i believe bcoz it has no answer.. why ?
How can there be any answer to such subjective question? By the way ancient sages of our country has propounded if we know who and what we are , we have reached the end of quest and we attain nirvana the ultimate salvation. Isn’t the toughest question in Vedanta is WHO AM I ?if sages struggled fr centuries cracking their wits and going nuts over such a grand question how can we , ordinary mere mortals can answer it?.

How can we tell aboutself? Whenever second we are dying and being born anew?. Thousands of cells are dying in our body every second and thousands are being generated freshly carrying our life forward(towards graveyard ofcoourse heeee) every moment is dying to make way for new..every second is new . wheneverythng is changing …when everything is so dynamic how can we speak what we are ?....

poeple say to speak what we are over a period of time ..oh my ,,,,now that wonderous…how .,,,buddy we are not animals who have set tendencies. They have same qualities all through their lives. Hence they can be easily predicted, hunted and tamed. But we are humans with brain . we are and can be totally unpredictable we can be anything we want. Every day our mind is getting changed depending upon all the tons of information’s that’s pounding in our heads through media.Every day new feature of life gets exposed depending on circumstances we face in this world then how can we say what excately we are ?...or atleast I don’t
Psychometric tests are for dumb as they can be beaten with ease or atleast I did twice in a row. A person who doest change according to the world is living in fossilized world self created and what more he is insulting the the Gods gift of free will. Yeah if there is anything that’s predicable in human nature is his unpredictability

Q 2) what are your positive points and negative points?

A ) welcome to the world of equally stupid question as above. What are strong positive and equally negative points? Who can define what positive is and what negative is ?and what is the purpose of these positive and negative points? One mans terrorist is another mans freedomfighter. So who in this statement is good and who is bad? Whatever am back to point. I don’t belive anything such a positive and negative. I either mould any situation to my convenience or get crushed by it dependning my capability. Stretch any quality beyond a point it changes its characteristic. From positive to negative and negative to positive. Exercise is good and do in excess it hurts. For example iam born with poor concentration now that’s a negative point as per worlds standards and negative point . I belive that every good quality is resultant of something bad and both good and bad sides of same coin. If there is something jut flip it to other side there would be something equally sweet positive point. Lack of concentration would directly lead to good analytical skills. Trust me , your creativity enhances. What is concentration?. Keep your mind at one point ie., single pointedness. Whats lack of concentration? We cannot keep at one point that means it keeps moving int different things wow that means you can many things than other people. Whats analytical skill? Analsyising information from number of sources ..isnt that what poor concentration equipped chap does.?....am I wroing buddy?...all the money I earned on this planet has nothing to do with college education or concentration,,,,trust me,,,,it works

Now iam entering into real contraversial realm…I can give 100 reasons why and why not but I guess I shoudnt dampen spirits of all those commandos of life who are out to make this move ..but I wonder if guy really marries?..its women who marries man and man just gets tied up to a women. I wonder why man takes up suck a big risk . is it not foolishness buying boeing plane just because for free peanuts. Nature was my 1^st love .trip to badrachalam temple was more to take a break from routine slug that has set in life rather than any spiritual connotation. Train upto district and from district to town by bus and to from village to badrachalam by car through the forest, rivulets .Badrachalam temple was built by Ramdas on bank of godavari.

The fun in temple was not many were near sanctorum. But most of them were near exhibition that displays jewels of Lord Ram .If there is 1 man ..there are 100 women .Hasn’t Marylyn Monroe said Diamonds are women best friends. How true. All women thronged the jewel exhibition. they weren’t just viewing .but analyising like gemologists .

My birthday is on march 20 ie ., cusp of Aries n Pisces. But dominant element is water in my zodiac and no wonder , water bodies is always my favourite hangouts I was childhood champion in officers club in swimming. I used to dive from highest board and swim underwater fer quite a long time .but after 10 years step[ping to water I recived the shock of century .i was not able to float in Godavari.i was drowning. gasping to keep myself afloat. Entire energy being drained in those currents. hydrostatic pressure crushing my ribs and as if heart is elevated to throat. oh my ..i just stepped into shallow waters but this is quite embarrassing to be

Now what I write is specifically for someone who shares my enthusiasm and love for everything that’s wonderful and natural. Starting back from temple we cruised leisurely back home through forest roads. The farms…village atmosphere…..calmness…serenity really filled every fissure in my heart with great joy . Sensitiveness has its own advantageous. One can see things in its pristine form.

As we returned dusk has set in. and starts started making their appearances. After some moments I witnessed something that 99% not possible in metropolis due to clouds of pollution. Car was cruising at over 100 and I was not complaining as I was totally engrossed at gust of wind that seems to relish dashing at my face as my tresses danced in synchrony. I felt adrenaline rush as we zipped past dark n deep woods. Perhaps my primate connections from our homosapian ancestors woke up in midst woods ,I felt like screaming at top of my voice till it penetrates every critter in forest.

Now we were passing through fields and vast landscape lie in front of us. Entire universe came into view. Wow ..what an awesome cosmic display??...as of Lord Nataraja has danced through stars and nebular activity. No amount of description can explain the beauty of view. Zillions of shining stars spread over the vast endless space. How come we fail to observe the wonders of nature but worry more over flat tyre ?

All the languages of the world would not help in explaining this cosmic art(wish I can shake hands with Artist who is responsible for this ) My limited vocabulary does no justice to explain this stunning phenomenon.

Ever since 1^st satellite sputnik of Russia penetrated into space hundreds followed the suit. More sophisticated and more penetrating .yet with all the world research we hardly scratched the surface. More humans try to unravel mystery called space..more seems to appear and more galaxy seems to have become mysterious. Imagine this sun takes 8 minutes to bathe the world with its scorching rays and moon within a second …how about these stars over my head now ??...It takes 4 years .Gasping isn’t it ?

Pause and ponder!!!!

Ask yourself , when was the last time we actually consciously wondered about nature around us which we have taken it so granted? when was the last time we marveled of universe ?when was the last time you have relished the beauties of nature with all your heart and soul? Like everyone I was totally lost in daily humdrum of life till I managed this getaway .Now iam able to take a sip at cosmic ecstasy into my soul. I was thoroughly intoxicated by sheer unlimited joy that has over whelmed every cell in my body. I was totally drunk with ecstasy. In one word the experience can be summed as BLISS!!!!

The stars like priceless diamonds sparkling in backdrop of pitch back sky is phenomenon something worth tons of happiness combined. These stars were all over not like in clusters as we see in metros. all types of stars ..big …small ..Dying stars ..pulsars..lunar activity ..red stars …constellations ..all were visible with naked eye .

I became philosophical. I tried to penetrate the unlimited universe with my limited mind. Comprehending the incomprehensible!!!i wonder where it begins and where it ends. Can we touch the ends of universe? is there any end in the 1^st place? if there I an end there would be beginning..

Who could have created all this. wow the creator must have been awesome mathematician .otherwise how could he managed to set so many variables like stars and planets and those tons of permutations that life takes up to exist to brilliantly fit into this sudoko like synchrony ? and work in 100% perfect tandem with zero scope to mistake!!!!

What could be be those wonderful forces that are holding all the planets stars and meteors, asteroids , comets and all other cosmic entities to i function in such a perfect synchrony? What could be those hidden forces or energy that has designed such a magnificent piece of art at mind boggling sophistication?

Now fundamental question arose.

Is this

Creation or evolution

Science or spirituality

Physics or Meta physics ?????????

So many question pounding like shooting tars n comets into my mind screen. but no answers seem to emanate. Is this what Chandogya Upanishads say “ Tat Tvam Asi” “That Art Thou”…

Am I trying to unravel impossible ?

Am I touching the realm of forbidden?

Am I decoding Code Called God?

Gentlemen ..as we celebrate our 60 year of Indian republic .ponder over few things ...

1) why does world still view India as poor ...poverty ridden ...ugly ...villagefilled ...uneducated ...elephants ...maharajahs..land of sadhus and snake charmers .. and .white mans burden ...????

2) How come they dont want to believe that India is now TRILLION DOLLAR ECONOMY ..that too we have reached that stage in record of 17 years (no country ..not even out imperial gora phoren usa/uk has done that feat)....maximum they think we are colonies of call centres eating chicken tikka ,praying snakes and driving elephants to work....

3) How come slum dog millionaire which made it to oscars ...but movies like Rang de basanti ...or guru ...or chak de ..etc cubdt make it ..?...It looks like judges of oscars are still addicted to old India where poverty and philosphy is vogue ...slumdog shows them what they wud like to belive ...India is land of slums .....oh my ..looks like they are making mockery of Indian progress..

4)...Why did david milibind ...the britains(not capital B..they dont deserve respect) foreign secretary visted village hut in amethi to get feel of India?...why not see world class infrastructural wonders if infosys or .Technological temples like ISRO ..or witness some of awesome missiles we build at balasore ....delhi-gurgaon corridor.??

Yeah ..In India we still have many maladies ..i agree ..corruption ..casteism ..traffic chaos .....paritsanism...terrorism ..nepotism ...etc etc many more etcs ....but friends ..these are something that are every where ...in every country.Every country has its share of problems based on its history, culture , and circumstances .But like any suucesfful country ,, they over come them....Every country on this planet has gone through it .Overcome it.Became successfull and developed..

Let us compare with most powerful and richest country on the planet United States of America......

If you say Castism is biggest headache.Remeber America had Class problem.Black and White racist wars and Alabama chain gangs prisons

If you say Corruption such as bribery and poliltics based on money and seat purchase...let us not ferget the sale of obama seat after his exit to presidency.You can say laws should be tough like in arabia.Remeber Saudi Arabia took bribe of 1 billion dollars from birtish military industry.Saudi arabia pays millions of dollars to religious terrorists to keep them at bay.Laws are tough on commoners but not on elite who can flout rules at will.If worls speaks of satyam scandal, we ca point to enron of usa and not forgetting all those tranatlantic corporations like lehmenn brothers,freddie mac ..fannie mae etc ....

If you say Reservation.Trust me ., even harvard university has reservation system so does developed countries like paris Ecole universities.If depressed classes are not helped , on longer run entire country gets affected.Forget not american affirmative action was reservation system created fer  for blacks.Maybe not the name is same but essence is the same .

If africa is not rescued from its poverty , entire world gets affected sooner or later.It already started ...see how somalian pirates are keeping entire world on tender hooks by attacking every ship passing through gulf of aden..Entire world is connected and all our destines are interlinked .We all have to move at equal pace .

People say Govt reservation should not be there.People who say, are the people who belive that its affects their lives.Ok.Fine.Then why should Govt give billions of ruppees as loans to private industry.why should govt bailout banks that fail by injecting hard earned tax payer money ?.You can use word "Economic Stimulus" for this act ...once again ..all word are symbolic ..but substance of Reservation and Stimulus are same .That is provide crutch to enable to things keep going...

Terrorism/secularism/corruption : Which country hasnt faced it ...?USA, to Russia ...to Afrcian to even Pakistan .Tell me which country has given so much freedom to minorities?Only in India can we find minorities have equal footing with majority.Tell me in chich country does a State has guts to arrest dominants religons leader like we had done to Swami of Shankaracharya few years back???Every country is characterieed by its dominant religion .In usa caption is In "God we trust"..We all know what that God means.Christainity.Japanese is shinto buddhism...saudi is hard core islamic country .. .But whats Indias caption ?Satyama jayaete!!!!Truth Triumphs!!!.100% secularism..yeah there might be few cases ..But they are mere aberration ..

every country has its own share of problems.Remeber we are just 60 years old .Maybe from human age point of view 60 is very big number but from nations point of view , we are not even adolscents.Remember americas freedom came in year of 1766. and britain is far more old .From 1766 .it slolwy evolved at its own sweet time before becoming wolrds stringest country.

India has developed on super fast scale that is totally unknown on this planet.Its just in 1990 we had opened up to the world and finally within 18 years we have have come this far.Thats amazing. Imagine this ..we are not japan which has never been colonised ..nor is britain where everyone speaks one language ..nor we are china where there is dictatorship nor we are saudi arabia there is single religion ...

We are Indians ..where everything and every aspect changes with every 50 kilometres.Everything ..language...culture ...history ...etc.So governing such a vast country with mind boggling diversities is just very difficult ...and thats the main reason for our slow pace ..

Believe like i believe in India .Have faith in India and its future.We are bound to be World Leaders long before you shut your eyes eternally..........JaiHind!!!

Why does Shoba dee/anupam kher/techies/ profesionals/ models/page3 /elite protest jessica lal killing and carry out protest on street during OBC reservation but not a soul is seen inKairlanji dalit rape case where teenagedaugter was raped even after her death in front of her parents by so called high castes...... .Simple ..who can walk in those dusty villages where there is no Press coverage ???.How come Press feel threatened when Indian flag (construed as sign if Hindu rise)rises in Jammu protest but Paksitan flag is ok when Srinagar seperatists openly declare secessction ???.... Let us look at Hollywood connection with india ..We seldom see hollywood showing something nice abt India ...we find Ompuri as labourer in Ghost and Darkness with valkilmer ...Amrishpuri as some exorcist in Indiana Jones ...and in Bournes supremacy they show the cheapest of cheap car chases and beaten down buses of goa(one scene of sanota gold is mere abberation). ...but when they lift Indian ideas (now hollywood began to lift ideas from Culture than movies ..that job belongs to Bollywood ..Its not steal .the word is INSPIRED)..like Matrix triology is totally Indian vendanta and Hindu philosphy but given modern tech touch....Remeber the sanskrit sloka in form of rock in the ending of Matrix2???.. ..or Madonnas mantras in her some album ,,, Oye Hollow Hollywood ...India has more millionaries than any asian country and we have highest black money in swiss bank (even thats an achivement yaar Art of Stealing..Remeber :One mans robber is another mans Spy;)....Looks like Pax Americana seems to be replacd by Pax Indica India is now a big market ...now james bond need not escape from streets of jaipur in rickshaw(OCTPUSSY movie)..he can get latest benteley or benz ...Americans are now slowly realising to the fact ..we are big bucks as well..Remeber Anaconda was dud in Usa but hit in India (we pray serpents after all )..Ambanis is already on buying Speilbergs movies ..its not far off before we start financing major movies of hollywood ..Confluence of Cultures???. ...whatever .. For all those who are open mouthed with wonder at IIT/IIM wallas, here is a mythbuster. They are just hardworking strudents who know how to work hard and not geniuses.Just look at world forbes list top 10 world richjest persons .You wont find IIM guy there. Laxmimittel is not from IIM , but he is the one of the richest guy so is not ambani for whom many IIM guys work fer...I dont believe education is required fer making riches . Basic education ..maybe ..but look at all those barons who made quite a sum from marwari gujurathi, rajastani guys ...they are hardly educated . but they are born entrepreneurs...

Look at Nobel prize winners every year ..so far not even a single IITan won prize.The only physict who won from India was CVRaman that too in pre independence era when infrastructure and information is heavily scarce ..ISRO is one of the worlds top centres fer space research and here is aa quote from its Director Madhavan Nair

Heres one more chilli cracker .When entire India, rich n nouveau riche protested against OBC (mind u i dont belong to obc) resevation, how come not a single person of AIIMS who have donned the coat of justice and equality came out to protest against Management Quota seats?..Isnt that as well a kind of reservation? IF they are sentinals of equality how come they never cared to remove racial segregationthats flourishing in their campuses?. Why do all those low caste students are ghettoised in one corner of hostels? why are they not allowed to mix with others and be party of mainstream? the fear is so much i campus that when govt of indiaconducted an inquiry , chairman of commission had to visit hostellers in middle of night..Set up to investigate the caste bias allegations at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here, the three-member committee was headed by the University Grants Commission chairman Sukhadeo Thorat. It said caste discrimination are evident in the institute’s assessment system and in the hostel and campus life.

I guess I don’t remember any movie that has unleashed such a mass hysteria .It seem to be the most waited movie. Awesome budget, Deadly combo of Rajini-Shankar-Rahman has let loose new bench mark in Indian cinema stables. Media burnt midnight oil to tune itself to frenzy fans frequency .All national channels have upped their creative ammunition to face the media war that, as expected as waged to garner maximum TRP rating as movie got released . Last time I guess Media went so berserk in covering the festive like event was when India went to finals in World cup.

Its really a festival in Chennai with tickets prices soaring as far as 3000/- or more for metaphoric 1st day 1st show. This one movie and everything connected to it seem to be good enough for all sociologists to go for star thesis for their doctorates in social research . Fans praying for success, huge cut outs, cutting their bodies to please their favourite deity. It seems Shivaji movie has generated every flavour that a utopian movie should generate .


I really wonder if any movie star can generate hype of this range. This is the age of coalition govt and coalition movies with few exceptions. Bollywood is no longer ruled by The-One . No longer it is Amitabh Bachan or Tri-Khans. Rarely one single star carries the entire burden on his shoulders unless he is sharukh khan or amir khan . Even they have span , But Rajini kanth like a colossus seem never to get tired to hit the bull’s-eye at box-office irrespective his age . No one needs to say who is the real Boss is ..its always there to see……...
